It’s Memorial Day weekend – the unofficial start of summer! We’re looking forward to time with friends, a trip to the local farmer’s market, and hopefully some pool time (fingers crossed the weather cooperates!). To kick off the weekend, Timmy and I have the perfect cocktail for you: Fiery Watermelon Margarita!
It’s a little bit spicy. A little bit sweet. And absolutely delicious. It’s the perfect drink for the holiday weekend!

Fiery Watermelon Margarita
8 oz. watermelon juice
4 oz. jalapeño tequila
Juice of one lime
Topo Chico with a twist of lime
Add the watermelon juice, jalapeño tequila, lime juice, and ice to a cocktail shaker. Shake until well blended. Add to a glass filled with ice and top with Topo Chico. Enjoy!
Notes!
- This recipe makes 2 drinks.
- Blend 3-4 cups of cubed watermelon to get 8 oz of watermelon juice. If you have extra juice, use it to make my Watermelon Cherry Berry Smoothie!
- I use 21 Seeds Cucumber Jalapeño tequila. My friend Maria introduced me to it recently and it adds the perfect amount of spice.
- If you don’t have – or can’t find – Topo Chico with lime, regular Topo Chico or any sparkling water like Pellegrino will work well.

I hope you have a sunny, fun-filled weekend! If you give the Fiery Watermelon Margarita a try, leave me a comment and let me know what you think.
